Breitling Launches Navitimer 8 B01 Chronograph

Recently, Breitling has launched the new Navitimer 8 B01 chronograph (model: AB011713), which is the first new product released by the brand after CEO Georges Kern took office. In the 1930s, Breitling established the ‘Huit Aviation’ (Huit means 8 in French) for the manufacture of on-board timers for pilots, and this is the name of the new watch. At that time, ‘Huit’ also referred to the 8-day power reserve equipped with the onboard timer.

The new chronograph is 43 mm in diameter and is equipped with an independent Caliber B01 automatic movement certified by COSC. The design of this watch combines the coin-edge bezel of the Breitling vintage pilot’s watch and the inverted panda dial. The watch will be available from May to June 2018 and will be priced at CHF 7,100 (equivalent to approximately RMB 48,000). It is reported that in addition to this, there is also a 41 mm diameter Navitimer week calendar watch will be launched in the same period.
