2015 Basel 2015: Rolex Cellini Time

Hours, minutes and seconds are essential elements for daily timing. ROLEX Cellini Time is unwavering, and strives to grasp the present and capture the moments every minute. Cellini Time is a testimony of important moments. This year’s four new models, all decorated with diamonds on the outer ring, are cleverly matched with some surface designs, classic and timeless. The hour markers are separated by the minute track moving towards the center of the surface, close to the end of the hands, not only paying tribute to the timeless principles of traditional watchmaking, but also reinterpreting the essence of the watch in an elegant modern style. With this extraordinary timepiece’s self-winding chronograph movement, the hands shaped like a double-edged sword can run exactly every hour, every second.

The gemini-encrusted Cellini Time comes in a 39 mm 18 ct white gold or eternal rose gold case and is available with a single or double bezel set with diamonds. The double outer ring set with 96 diamonds contrasts with Rolex’s classic triangular pitted outer ring. On the black lacquered surface, 11 diamonds are set on one end of the hour mark, which are dazzling. The single bezel set with 62 diamonds is finished with a pink or rhodium white surface, with the effect of the sun’s rays, set against the extended hour mark. In addition, the Cellini Time is equipped with a semi-matt black stitched crocodile leather strap with an 18 ct gold buckle that contrasts with the case metal.

Parmigiani Launches The Tonda 1950 Ultrathin Small Three-hand Watch

The Tonda 1950 watch launched at the 2011 SIHH in Geneva is a watch that Parmigiani returns to tradition and classics. This small three-hand watch in rose gold and white gold is small and refined, while at the same time possessing a high level of comfort and convenient time viewing.

The watch is equipped with the new PF701 self-winding movement, with a diameter of 30mm (13.25 legal minutes) and a thickness of only 2.6mm. This movement is equipped with platinum 950 miniature eccentric automatic oscillating weight, which can provide 42 hours of power storage at 21600vph vibration frequency. In addition, according to Parmigiani, this movement will also add a date function in the future. Since the space has been planned for new components in advance, it will not affect the delicate appearance of the Tonda case.

This PF701 movement has been carefully modified: the main plate of nickel silver has been sandblasted, rounded and rhodium-plated. The bridge is sandblasted, frosted, or Geneva rippled, then manually chamfered, and finally rhodium-plated. At the same time, both sides of each gear are eye-catching-chamfers, grooves and round finishes, and gold plated before cutting.

The watch case has a thickness of 7.80mm and a diameter of 39mm. Black or white dial with 12-hour indexes. The small seconds dial is located at 6 o’clock and the word PARMIGIANI FLEURIER is printed at 12 o’clock.
